Has anyone ever painted their 3rd gen in the 4th gen colors Pewter or Meridian blue?

Pewter would be different. My wife drives a pewter 2000 Blazer. The color looked great at first but seems like that is the only color Chevy made the last 2 years. A 3rd gen would be different in this color.
