i absolutely love our color although i have never heard or known it was called Maui blue... thought it was called something else...... any way here are a couple pics of mine......

88_thirdgen if you open your console yiu find the rpo codes, check them with rpo decoder of thirdgen.og and you will find everything! you need thanks to this site!

 

Sweet rides guys, i always wanted a third-gen in Maui Blue but i could not pass up the deal on my GTA. Its still in the back of my mind to change the color to Maui Blue and then use white GTA emblems, but it might be a little out of my depth. Keep the Maui wave coming!!

My bright blue metallic 1985 Camaro is faded to about that color...

 

Here is a pic of mine, 1990, we have owned it since 98. In the process of working on it, will be getting it repainted same color in the next few months.

Really really nice color... its the only blue I like on a 3rdgen
or on any car for that matter...its a great choice if you are going
to paint your 3rdgen and if I ever paint her this maui blue will be my choice

This is mine. Its a V6 with 102,000 Miles on it but im doing my best to get all i can in this 6!

 

Thats a beautiful car!!! I want to get a fresh paint job.....whats it cost for a great one???? Any thoughts...

 

Mako will paint it for around $600.00 but it usually orange peels out. A good paint job will run you about 1200.00+ just look around at your local shops for the best deals.

Thanks for the tip...I think I'll just save a little more $$ because this car only has 101K on it and I want a paint job thats amazing....I did find a place where I live that cost about $1,300.

Call me stupid... But what the hell do you have to do to get a picture to show up? Does it have to be saved somewhere online??

 

It has to, yes.

Photobucket or Imageshack allow free file hosting, which means you can upload your pictures there without added cost.

Then you copy the link to the picture (Imageshack shows this when looking at the picture, with Photobucket you right click the picture and chose "properties" and from there copy the information behind URL)

The link generally looks like http://www.photobucket/useralbum/picturename.jpg r something like that

When posting you can either use html code or click on "insert image" in your post, and copy the URL information there.

Here's an old pic of my 1989 RS, right after I got it, I pulled what was left of the 2.8 out and gave it a quick powerwash. Before long it will be 100% Maui Blue again

...And I got it on Photobucket and it's still being stupid so I'm gonna do it this way lol

My wheels? Thanks man but they're just stock 15" RS rims lol Just got the car driveable for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I got some ebay knockoff centercaps on em now... Really like this style all black. Eventually I'm gonna have them sent in and redone, they look good from a distance but they're a little pitted... and of course a hood will be in order first lol
