I'd like to change my OEM Grille. Can it be done without problem?
I have never been a big fan of my OEM grille on my 90 Camaro RS (the regular black louvered type) I would like to change it to one of these grilles(http://www.youngsfbody.com/inc/sdetail/355) Which one would fit my 90 Camaro?. Could someone tell me if its a direct fit. Also, where are the mounting screws and how do i get to them. I really dont want to have to put my license plate over that beautiful chevy bowtie or the words "camaro". So whats the best spot to mount that?

I am sure that the grilles you are looking at on youngsfbody.com are reproduction models, but they should fit as well as the OEM grilles. I changed my busted louvered grille on my 92 about a month or two ago. The screws to the louvered grille are in the front center, between the louvers, all you need is a screw driver.
The mounting points on your new grille are located on the sides of the center of the grille, shown in pic. Thats my OEM Grille i purchased for $30 from an IROC part out.

Insert your new grille, make sure its lined up the way you want it, and carefully mark the holes with a marker.( Maybe have a friend help you out, one holds the grille steady and the other marks the holes)
Once the holes are marked, pull the grille back out and set it aside. I used a small drill bit to get my holes started, but didnt drill all the way thru. I then inserted the new grille again, and screwed the screws into place. Here is another pic after i painted the grille and installed it.

As far as yor license plate goes, i would check with your local DMV to make sure if your state even requires you to have a front license plate by law. If you do have to have one by law, then my suggestion would be to mount it on your Air Dam underneath the car. I am not sure how legal it is, but many of my friends in Texas with 4th Gen Cars did that, and never got hasseled by the cops for it. Hope that helps ya out a bit.

Longmire92 is correct. It is an easy swap. Just four screw on the side. My Nose panel came with the four screw holes already there.
If I were you...I would NOT buy from youngs. Too many issues with people on this board.
I got my bowtie grille from Hawks with no problem at all and it was very well packaged.

My front license holder is from Summit. Cost me about $50 and took 5 minutes to install with a drill, some bolts and nuts from the hardware store. Excuse the old grille....
Now you see it....

Now you dont....
