Door handles

Ok, when I baught my car, it had the **** all over the door. I had teh key guards, the silver door guards on teh ends, and the handle covers that area all bumpy and yellowed from the sun. I have removed everything but the handle covers so far. Has anyone had these, and what will it look like when I do remove them? Or would it be better to get new handles from a car that did not have these? They look like **** and I don't need them. Alos, I have the horizontal plastic door guards. They don't look too bad, but I would prefer them over dents in my doors. My other question is how easy is it to remove these gurds as well?
