To CarNDrvr...........

Hey, i wanted to know what wheels u have on your car, they look really nice!

I understand the rear wheels are about 2 inches wider or something?? Can u please tell me where you got them from, and the measurements you have?? And did u need any spacers or anything? or did they just fit directly on the car?

I plan on getting new wheels for my 92 z28, and those or my first choice.

I was also looking into getting those rims...they are from Boyd Coddington (believe the site is www.boydcoddington.com ) I got a price quote from the only dealer I could find...and they gave me an OUTRAGEOUS price..I THINK it was like $250 per rim...comes out to $1000....so I decided to get the Z06 chrome rims instead (around $800 for all 4). The boyd rims that carndrv (awesome car) used are 17X9.5 in front i believe...and 17X11 in back...and he said he had to beat the hell out of the back well...and roll the lip a bit....I love how the rims look (especially the rims lip)....but way to much money.

Yeah, I agree, $250 isn't bad at all - my TT2's were over $300. Those wheels on CarNDrv's car are SWEET!!

The wheels are more than $250 each. A set of 17x8's were $999 a set. Mine are 17x9 in front and 17x11 in back. The 17x9's were $300 each and the 17x11's were $400 each.

Wow...I'm impressed. That looks damn good on there. Makes me want a black one...hehe. Good luck. I will tell you to watch what brand of tire you buy with them. Some tires bow out more than others. I have the Pirelli P7000's because they are flush with the rim and do not rub. I had some 315/35/ZR17 BFGoodrich drag radials on the back before the Pirelli's and they rubbed really bad.
