Play around with it, thats how I learned. Its VERY hard to explain, you just gotta get it. And it takes a very visual mind to concieve the way it works.

You'd be amazed how far just a little literacy
will get you with an unfamiliar program

It's really not to hard once you get to know it.

Was thast really neccessary? Sure, he could have put it a bit lighter, but that no reason for you to get so offended. Use the Help included with the program to help you along. You will need to learn how to use the selection tools (used to draw a border around objects, specifying the boundries of where actions occur), also, for changing the color of a car, research hue/saturation values and color balances. Also useful when you lower a car is the clone tool (you need to clone sections of the image that are uncovered by moving the car down a bit). Hope this helps. All the stuff I said pertains to Adobe Photoshop, but I assume PSP has similar tools.

Don't get all upset cause he doesn't want to hold your hand and walk you through it. Use the help file, search the internet for tutorials, or just mess around with it.

yeah...that was really uncalled for. Let's act mature on the boards, instead of posting little red mean faces flipping off others, okay?

There are many ways of changing the colors of a car, but this is how I do it in Photoshop 6.01. First open the pic you want to work with. Then click layer->duplicate layer. A little window pops up and I just click O.K. Then click Image->Adjust->Replace Color. The Replace Color window pops and your cursor turns into a dropper and place the dropper on the color you want to change in the picture, then left click with the mouse. Use the sliders in the Replace Colors to adjust the colors. Some of the same colors maybe in the background or etc may change also but we'll fix that later. After you get the correct color you want click OK in the Replace Color Window. Then click on the use the Eraser to clean up the colors that changed in the background and etc. that you did want changed. This technique takes alittle longer but has good results. As I said there are may ways of doing this but this way works good for me.
