Getting my 3rd Gen tomorrow

Tomorrow I'm picking up my 3rd gen 1986 Camaro. What are the first things you guys would do to it to make it look cosmetically well? The paint is good on it along with the interior. But anything you guys would do such as wash/wax, clean interior, or anything else?

just what you said.

I would start with checking the shocks and sturts, check/change the fluids, check/change the brake pads/rotor/drums if needed, and check the tires. All the basic stuff to make sure the car is safe and road worthy

You'll love the car. Make the car mechanically/reliably sound before you address cosmetics--which won't get you home at midnight.

Re: Getting my 3rd Gen tomorrow

I just spent my whole afternoon getting her looking good cosmetically. I washed/waxed her along with cleaning the whole interior with Armor-all. The glass i cleaned with Gunk Glass Cleaner. The tires i did with finish 2000 tire cleaner. Tomorrow me and my Pops are fixing the Temperature, Volts, and Gas Gauges in the car because they are all not functioning.

I was going to take some photos but its close to 7 here in NJ, so it wouldnt show the work i did . When my Dad and I drove it from my Aunt's house(we bought it off her), she drove real nice. I'm already excited for my license test in 11 days.
