The new SS can have center exit exhaust that I think looks awsome. I doctored up a pic, what do you all think?

I need to do some more research and see how slp routes it.

I've been thinking the same thought, and also did a pic a while back. I also lowered the gfx's some just for the heck of it:

I like it. I think I would like it even more if it was maybe 2, or even 1 long oval tube. But the whole center idea looks great.

I personally don't care for it, but It's your car, do with it what makes YOU happy. You both have very beautiful cars, and It would turn a lot of heads. I personally don't like to see ANY tailpipes, but I'm a drag racing guy, and the only cars you see at dragstrips with tailpipes are slow ones!!

I'm undecided on how I like it. I don't think its like the coolest thing ever, but I don't think its hideous either. Not bad I guess.

Here is the system off a SS

Seems pretty easy to change over any system with outlets on either side. Cut the pipes back add some 90 degree bends, and some tips.
How hot do tips get anyway? Anychance of them melting the ground fx?

I'd like it with 2 big tips(I think thats an option with the SLP kits). The quad tips all in a line is just too busy looking for my taste.

Not to ruin anybodys ideas but, you'd have a fun time trying to do that w/o cutting part of the 'trunk' or impact bar out of the way.

It would be very close to say the least.

I hate it. I think it looks horrible on the SS's and only slightly better on the thirdgens. It's also one more unecessary exhaust restriction.

I dumped my exhaust out the center when I decided to put on new exhaust last year. I used the Meg's 5 inch oval tips. They are about a half inch away from the fascia and the heat hasn't bothered the plastic yet. I get lots of compliments on it. I think it looks great and would be really awesome with 4th gen Z tips. Oh yeah, it really wasnt that hard to do. It just takes time and carefull measuring.

Actually it wouldn't be possible without cutting out some of the impact bar or whatever. I cut out part of my gfx and raised my tips up into it, but I couldn't raise them very far up in the gfx until i hit the metal impact piece under the bumper cover.

I have seen the center exit exhaust on a third gen before dunno where he got it though, also wouldn't the 4th gen exhaust fit, if not direct , just a few mods

wouldnt this make it easier to run a straight exhaust? i was just out under my car a few minutes ago and the exhaust pipe winds through a bunch a little valleys and stuff...wouldnt this set it on top of all that, keeping in mind my camaro is the top thing to LAUGH AT when i have to go over rough ground (scrape scrape scrape) i would love to see someone with an exhaust pipe sticking out like that....IM RAMBLING
