I was under my car making new transmission lines for my car when I see feet heading my way. I got up and greeted him, as he as loking at my car he told me a story about an iroc he had. It was an 84 25th anniversary with a 454 and nitrous, running the same setup as me (HSR). It was, of course a showcar. He was driving home one night and a very modified 5.0 mustang pulled up next to him at a light. The light turned green and he gunned it, the car had so much power it broke the spindel and he went off into the ditch totaling the car. Why are all 3rd gens 25th anniversary models and why does the story end with the car being totaled?? I wish I was making this crap up but I'm not and unfortunatly I get these kind of storys all the time but I have now started to call the people out on thier bs which is always fun. I guess the car gets totaled because there would be evidence of it actually happening. Well thats my story whats yours??

 

I know a guy that has a 88 Iroc 305 TPI (I believe). It has just been sitting there for years and I was trying to see if he would sell it. Long story short I started telling him about a 90 RS that I was swapping the blown 305 out for a 350 (was trying to get him to trade) He started talking about how he didnt see how a 350 would fit. "I bet you will have to do some cutting to get it to fit in. The 305 is tight in there now"

I seen it useless to continue the conversation. I faked a phone call and excused myself.
