I have the factory louvers for my '82 Berlinetta. They have a broken mounting bracket so i have yet to put them on. Last week I was looking at them and noticed how terrible the original paint job looked, many people talk about repainting it which Im looking at. Then i though of it might look nice to do the carbon fiber sheets on them so it looks like carbon fiber, i just wanted to see what you guys thought.

 

its been done, atleast on the iroc louvers, theres a purple z28 on here with them, they dont look to bad in my opinion but honestly kinda R1CE if you ask me.

edit, i realize your talking about the rear window louvers, it would be the exact same process i would imagine as hood louvers, but i still have the same opinion.

 

Alright, ill have to check for that Z28. any idea where i might find it?
and sorry but what does R1CE mean?

well ever seen a civic with a 10ft wing, bodykit, 4 fog lights, peeling paint/tint, multi colors, huge muffler that sounds like farts in the water, skinny rims or spare rims with tires the width of a pencil, 100 stickers that give them 50hp, lowered to the ground, yellow headlights/fogs, clear tailights, a short white kid with his hat backwards and when he asks you to race, he's like DAWGGG im gunna whuup yaz oncz me vtek kickz in, yaz knowz dawgz??
