4th-genified my car. PART II.

Well, actually it isn't my car, but I did use Anthony's (One Eyed Jack) car.

First off, if you are coming in here to just start crap with OEJ, just leave this post now.

Here is the 3rd/4th gen hybrid. The only "cut and pasted" parts I used were the rims, the front scoops, and side scoops. Everything else was drawn using lines, etc. The spoiler, rear, hoodscoop, gfx, and other 4th gen parts were drawn by me.

I like a little challenge.

I don't think it turned out so bad...other people agree too.

Hey thats really good photoshopping, but now it looks totally like a 4th gen than a third gen. The only difference I see is just the doors. Therefore I really dont see the 3rd/4th gen hybrid thing going. I mean this in a nice way, ssssooooo whats your point? If this was just a photo shop challenge for you then I think you did pretty good.

Yeah, I guess I got too carried away...

Wouldn't it be nice to have the ease of a 3rd gen engine bay, with 4th gen looks? That's what I was going for. Notice the A-pillar is quite steeper than a 4th gen's.

I think it has the 3rd gen shape, with 4th gen accents. I would take it. If it had an LS6, that would be a bonus!

Damn good job man. Do you take requests? I tried (and did alright, I think) to put 30th Aniversary Trans Am wheels on my car. But you are obviously better at photoshop than I!

Wanna help me out?

My provider is not currently working right now. I did finish Roshambo's request though. I then tried uploading, and it never came up.

They are probably upadating their servers or something, try back in a while.

If you really want to see it, just AIM me...my name is DZ302SBC.

I am online, and will be online until 4:30 pm Indiana time. California time would be 2:30 or something.

Whatever it may be.....

Wow, the first non-positive post! Thanks for commenting!

I hope you do realize that is a 1 hour paintshop job. No need for car crushing here dude, it isn't real.

It is more difficult to make a 3rd gen look like a 4th gen. The lines are just too rough, and I blurred some parts too much. Oh well, you got the idea. I do have another draft of it, which is not blurry and a little more refined. But my provider is not letting me upload yet. Maybe later.

Here you go Roshambo, it really wasn't a problem. I think your car looks great with 30th TA rims on. It looks great anyway...

i think that it looks kinda cool, but if you like the look of the 4th gen so much then why not just get one? i mean, people whine and complain so much when people use body kits, or modify the body, and people argue with if you dont like the look of the 3rd gen camaro then dont buy one, so why is it different if people wanna "4th-genified"?

i dunno, seems like a lot of work to me...

Hehe, we were just playing around in Paintshop out of boredom.

I wouldn't want a 4th genified lookin 3rd gen, I want a 2002 Firehawk.

Same reason hot rods have been changing they parts out for other parts for *** knows how long. Yea, maybe not make the whole thing look like a 4th gen, but it's very common to use stuff out of a new car in an old car to enhance it.

Nope, that is a real pic, taken by Crusdader at the Cascade Crews Gathering in Ocean Shores Washington in March.

Im putting together a video of all the video footage I have of my car, and, one portion of that is the 360s/burnout I did at the gathering. So, you will be able to see it happen in video Keep your eyes out for that guys!

Did you even READ what he said?! It was done in photoshop, its just something he did to pass time! Yeah, you heard me right, its NOT REAL! Never will be!

Damn, I think some people never read the damn text in the messages people post. This is a MESSAGE board, not a "pretty pictures" board. You gotta read the text/post to fully understand stuff. Little tip for ya there.

the wing is bit ***** for me, maybe laid back more instead of poking up and out like that.......i like the wheel vents, they need to be a bit more squarish to go with the car though.....like the color....like the rims....pretty good work for photoshop

I do not blame stupid people for being stupid, what i do blame them for is for not asking smart people for advice. When ever my mom asks for help, i tell her, i'm the one who knows what he's doing, not you, don't question me, just do what i tell you to. if stupid people would just realize they were stupid, and consult a smart person for advice, before they went and did something stupid and got pregnant/got someone pregant, this ****hole of a world would be a lot better. - adam corola

Thanks for the comments guys!

Actually, It was done to pass time, plus there is the fact that I don't even own a F-body anymore. So it will be impossible for me to throw a kit on a car that I don't own.

Yes, that's right I got a Mustang! It's kinda funny, because I'm glad I did, because now, I eat 3rd gens for lunch. Mmm, tasty.

No, I'm not ignorant to say a stock fox will beat every thirdgen, because it isn't stock either.

(Zips flame suit up.)
