Here is the pics of my car now that its done. I havent seen the 4th gen emblems on a 3rd gen before so I tried to be original, I think they look killer.

The forth Gen Letters and Spolier add a great personal touch to the car that goes beyond just adding a ram air hood. Looks awesome.

Not putting any rims on atleast untill next spring. after that I was thinking of some nice 4th gen chrome 5 star T/A Rims or a set of ROH (forget what model) rims. I know they arent head turning but Im shocked at how good the stock rims & white lettered tires still look.

I wouldnt go with anything but the ZR1 rims, or you'd make that car look less of what it is

I just got a couple comments. First off, killer paint job/color/scheme. The 4th gen emblems look right at home on it. Although the car has a really bright color the thing that I noticed first off was the flag, and then the FF plate in the rear pics. Let me just say, thumbs up on both having the flag on your car, and for being a fire fighter

Also, who made your hood and spoiler?

If you still consider it a thirdgen, you have the absolute best one, hands down. How much money did you put into it?

Man that's an awesome job! Really like the spoiler and personal touch of the "TA" badges. Can't wait to see it in person at Wildwood next year

Randomly, in response to OEJ's "if you still consider it a thirdgen...": Of course it still is

Nice car. Very unique color, and nice idea about going with the 4th gen emblems. The wheels you need are the ROH ZS rims:

Dude...you're evil!! Not to mention...eerily like a carbon copy of me. Ive got a white GTA, and i've had this crazy idea to make it what i called a 3rd and a half gen...basically EXACTLY what you did to your car. I thought i was gonna be all original, and have something new...then bam, here you are. Well, even though I'm prolly gonna steer away from that avenue now...it's good to know the car would have come out better than i ever could have guessed!! You're car looks beyond awesome man! Well, I'm glad someone did it, and damn...did it right! Excellent car. Oh yeah, besides the idea...im also a scuba diver, and happen to be a fire fighter as well. The drag racing part is obvious. Weird...

I think the only thing you need to is some wheels.... those things are rank and dont do a stock firebird v6 justice! Heres my suggestion C5 corvette wheeles.... the really thin polished or chrome ones.

I'm not a big fan of Firebirds, but that car looks bad. The 4th gen parts blend in superbly. Great job.

Very nice. The hood and spoiler match perfect. Under the light the car looks like something you'd see in a superchevy show. Very very nice. Some wheels make it stand out each more. Wish I live near ya... I'd let you borrow mine to get some pictures with them. Would love to see how it looks.

One more thing, I noticed in your sig that you have the 3" Borla adjustable exhaust. Are you happy with it? How's it sound? Do you happen to have any sound files? I want to put it on my car, but am not sure how it sounds. Thanks.

man....i was never huge on the 'birds, but that car is 1 bad @ss example of a sweet machine. The color is sweet & unique, and the body work looks exceptional. With a pretty set of rims that car will be a multi show winner IMO guaranteed. Congrats dude, your birdie is sweeeeet

Borla... I am in love with....sounds killer, and people notice it, down in Wildwood I had someone yell to me at a light "Is that Borla ya got on there"

Rims....Im really liking those ROH Z's. I might just have to get me a set come spring time.

F-Boy, its not Sunset orange, Its prowler orange. I think it was only on the 2001 Prowlers.

I bought this car in January, after my 86 305 4bbl firebird was totalled by some lady blowing a stop sign. I had big plans in mind, never thought it would turn out this good, and even after it did, I didnt expect it to be favored this much on thirdgen.org. there are alot of people with tough opinions, but everyone seems to love it. I planned on keeping this a daily driver, but it looks so nice now that I think Im gonna go car shopping for a cheap beater this week!

Oh yeah, my sig. kinda lies. My seats and console are ordered but not in yet. They should arrive and be in, in the next week or two, the place was having trouble. they are '97 Trans Am grey leather seats, full power, and a 97+ center Console.

Sweet ride ride dude, love the color and attention to detail. Nice use of forth gen emblems. Excellent overall workmanship.

You may or may not want to, just a suggestion but imo the clear side markers in the front fenders would look pretty good on it.

One Eyed Jack has it (for once) Paint it black and call it the Batmobile.

Just joking! Cool car, aggressive styling.

How much was the PAINT? not the paint job but the actual paint supplies? Because I'd take up painting any day and learn how to do that, just to make my car that exact color. Holy crap I'm in love. That car is now my wallpaper

Not really sure of a price on the paint, my body guy mixed it up himself, just go to a body shop and see what they can tell you about Chrysler's Prowler Orange, its a 2001 color. sorry man.
