Well, i recently finished my motor/trans swap(blown 358/th400) and had just gotten all the bugs worked out. My camaro and my dads chevelle were pulled out of the garage and parked on the side driveway so i could paint my golf cart lambo orange...when disaster struck, it snowed...hard. The weight was too much for two trees to bear and they apparently aimed for my car and happened to get dads chevelle for bonus points.
Looks like my car took the hardest blow mainly to the engine (go figure, right!?)
its hard to tell the damage until we remove the tress and cover. Heres some shots:
BEFORE:

AFTER:

TWO DAYS LATER, STILL WAITING ON THE INSURANCE COMPANY:
*you can see the second tree broke off just behind the first one laying across my hood

HERES THE STREET SCOOP(black thing with red circle flaps)...I DONT THINK ITS SUPPOSED TO BE POINTING DOWN:

Historic insurance wont cover it cause its an "Act of God", and homeowners insurance wont because it did hit a fence or house first..awesome.(..not)
Im trying to stay as positive as i can about this, but theres not much positive outlook on an 11,500$ motor investment being smashed by a potential stack of paper in the shape of a tree(two for that matter)
but on another note, golf cart turned out bad a$$:

UPDATE:
Got the trees cut off, car suffered minimal damage. No more than a bent carb stud, dented driverside mirror, and a crack in the windshield no bigger than a dollar bill.
trust me with a chainsaw?lol

heres the worst of the damage:

We couldnt believe the damage,or lack there of, I really got lucky. There wasnt even scratches. As for my dads chevelle, looks like he made it out with only a busted drivers side mirror as well.

wow talk about lucky should have bought some lotto tickets.
its BS that either insurance wouldnt cover it. talk about being scammed. its okay for corporations to do it to people but not the other way around.
