I had one wire-tied to my antenna on my IROC for a few weeks, but it was starting to tweak the antenna so I removed it. I've still got one on my Sport Coupe, and if I had an antenna on the GTA, I'd put one on there too.

I made an image of a flag into a 1.5" x 1" decal and stuck it on my rear spoiler.

I have one on the Grand Am, since the Camaro's not done yet. Even before Sept. 11, I had decided I should put one on the Camaro, being that it is a classic American car.

not me. I was going to put little American flags where the Firebird stickers are behind the side windows 2 years ago but everyone told me not to. Now that everyone has flags everywhere I'm not putting any on.

I put it on my CB antena because the bottom half of the antena about 4 feet high is a 1/4 inch thick and was solid the antena it self is about 8 feet high. The part on the cb that broke was the plastic magmount it got ripped off and i was only doin 45 i was still on the friggin onramp. So im gonna go return the antena now well at least try to.

I was thinking it'd be cool to put the camaro emblem on the car somewhere, like a decal in the back window or something. Ya know, it's got the red white and blue stripes with the bowtie below it. I thought it would say "American" yet "camaro". Not only proud to be American, but proud to be driving an American car too. Make all those ricers feel like dumb@$$es. But unfortunately the 'maro is in between engines right now, and it just wouldn't be right to put the camaro emblem on the 'bird.

f*cking honkey a*s rednecks with 18' CB antennas on a beat up primered 83 sport coupe are what fuels people to label everyone who drives an FBody a *******...CB antennas with a 8' american flag belong on a jacked up 78 F150, not on a fbody...
(no offensive to anyone with a primered 83 SC w/out a CB )

I have a small flag hooked into my defogger vent on my dash (pretty visible from outside) and a "Proud to be an American" sign w/flag background on the rear hatch window. Can't find one for my antenna or I'd have one there.

I'm a bit late for this one but. My flag is in the BEST place!
Ummmm, theres like a visor thing that covers everything in the hatch. Like a pull shade. I have an American Flag the whole size of the shade plenty visable thru the back window.

i don't follow stupid trends like putting american flags eveywhere. i didn't support the flag before last september and i still don't today. however, i did put a canadian flag, just to be controversial....

That's gotta look like complete crap....I don't think people were taking pictures of you because your car looks good, it was probably something like "Mommy, take a picture of the crazy hillbilly!"..... have you seen these new things called 2 way radio? they can range up to like 10 miles and you don't have to have a stupid *** 8foot antenna on your car....or there was this recent invention you may not have heard of called a cellphone....

Why are you guys makeing fun of my CB antena my friend has a camar too and my other friend has a firebird all have cb antena's
Hehe, in a parking garage it would look like you are driving a bumper car....I hope your antennas don't get stuck in the drive thru of a local fastfood restaurant

I am sure you and your friends fit into one of these two classifications....
The Camaro ******
The Trans Am ******

I do not have the US flag anywhere on or in my car, but I think it's awesome for the other people that do: Go America!

Zer0321, that wasn't nice, nor was it necessary :nono: I mean, damn, because of an antenna? Everyone does what they want, and if the man wants a CB antenna, the man can have a CB antenna.

Sh*t....

CBs are great for the highway. Since radar detectors are illegal here in virginia listening to the other people on the road can let you know where the police are at and even when to get off the interstate if there has been a wreck and traffic is backed up. My handheld unit has saved me from tickets on numerous occations. I plan on installing one under the dash and using a hide-a-way antenna (one of those that runs accross the top of the hatch glass. When I'm finished, if you didn't hear it in my car, you'd never know that I had it.

there's an american flag in the woodward banner i put on this morning. i have a CB too, but only a 24" antenna

for anyone thinks that CBs are hillbilly, you're retarded! it's helped me when i've broken down in the middle of nowhere, i know where cops are and besides, it's fun to listen to truckers

i don't have a CB on my car, but they are very usefull
It's a very good radar detector and traffic advisory.
but i wouldint have a 8 foot long antenna sitting on my car. a few of my friends have one. if you are planning on doing long trips then they are good. if you are using it to talk to your friends then there are cheaper ways of doing it
buy the way i do not have a flag on my car because they are trendy now and a magnet decal will ruin your finish.
but i am still a proud flag waver!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I was out of line...I was just a little more than slightly irritated, because I get **** about having a ******* ride, because of stuff like that (even though it's well maintained, and one of the nic(er/est) looking ones you see on the street...and no I don't have a ****** )..I would like to apologize to "FAST RS" (and anyone else with 8' CB antennas), because that was uncalled for and none of my business, and I have said what I said without seeing a pic first, it might not look 1/2 bad....and I salute your patriotism...

If anyone who was offended by my earlier comments to be edited away, just ask.

(and too make this technical; perhaps you can fix the antenna mount with some super glue, and then screw it down to hold it into place...)

I know this is way after the original post, but I just found this. Here is a picture of my American flag attached to my cargo cover. I got a thousand compliments on it. It fit perfectly.
