Selling my 91', PLEASE READ

I am selling my 91' Camaro. I want anybodys opinion on how much i should sell it for. The car is sort of a teal green, it has 176,000 miles on the car, but only like 20,000 on the engine, it has polished aluminum wheels, V6 3.1 liter, nice glossy paint, and half decent interior, also dual snorkel air intake with K&N's, and dual flowmaster exhuast. I am located in south louisiana. Pleas tell me what u think a good price would be to start off with. Thanks for your help in advance.

i'm no specialist, but if you're looking for opinions, i can tell you what i think. i also have a '91 and was considering selling it for '92 just like it with a v8, until i fell in love with it all over again... blah blah blah, lol. anyway, i was gonna ask about 4,000, because it has 115,000 miles on it, but i've got a custom fiberglass hood, fresh paint job, everything on it's in good to great condition, and i installed a cd player. yours seems to be just well maintained only with less miles on the engine..... A LOT less. i'd say ask 5,000 and see what you can get. just my opinionated price tag though. goodluck though

I don't think you will get very much out of it. I've seen mint-condition 91 RS V8s with 60,000 miles go for 3995. Right now in the trader there is a 1992 Formula 350 in great condition 92,000 miles going for 2995.

If you really want to know, the blue book value on it fully loaded in excellent condition is 3500.

I've taken losses in vehicles, so I'm not just rippin on v6s or anything. I had a 1997 Ford Ranger XLT Supercab, 72000 miles, 3.0 V6, 5-speed, go for 5 grand, I paid 11,000 dollars for it at a dealer. I got bent over and raped on that deal.

I got my 89 Formula for 7500 at a dealer. But the car was absolutely perfect, not any imperfections, and only 57,000 miles. Of course it isn't as perfect as it was when I got it.

The milage is going to scare away a lot of people, so you're going to have to offer an attractive price just to get interrested callers. The V6 is going to make it nearly impossible to sell (Trust me, I went through this with my 86). $2500 is the absolute most I think you'll be able to advertise it for and still get interest. If somebody offers you $2200, take the money and run.
