That Intrepid has come a long way since I repaired it. You should have seen it after my sister was done with it!

 

Some cars my family owns, '87 T-Type, '95 Impala SS, '81 Bandit Trans Am (sold to a guy in New Zealand ) and '68 GTO....I wish my car was black..it might fit in better lol but my car is a '91 Formula. I realize were not supposed to include other fbodys...but you gotta admit the trans am is beautiful

I dont have any pictures right now of the Camaro, Caprice and the Vette together but this spring when the sun comes out I will! Here's one of the Caprice (DD) and the Camaro.

 

I don't have the truck, but I think a 81-87 chevy truck single cab, long bed with a little bit of a lift and some mud tires would look awesome next to my car.

 

is the caprice an lt1? or was that only available for ss's?

 

Nope she's got the "Baby LT1" the 4.3L V8. RPO code L99. If you compare the LT1 and the L99 they are identical. Just like the 305/350 gen 1 sbc. You could get an LT1 in a civilian model car. O and for a 4200lb+ car it ran side by side with my Camaro when it had the L03/Auto combo. Not bad for a small *** V8 with 200hp. haha

 

I have the iron headed LT1 in my GTA. It goes alot faster in a car that weighs 700lbs less. Mods help alot too.

But here is my compliment to the GTA.

06' G6 GTP 6 speed manual. Much fun to drive. Same weight roughly, and 240hp. Very compariable to the GTA when stock. Just look at the roof height difference though. Holy cow, the GTA is like a midget next to it.

 

ive noticed that, at school my car sits so much lower than everyone elses, even the people with cavaliers my car is still lower

 

lol..i noticed that too walking to my car..saw the nose sticking out and was like, damn.
i always get surrounded by big trucks though..haha

dont have many pics of em together but the z24 is a 2.8v6 bored and stroked with a mild cam, i got big plans for it, im think 4.11s n a v8






wayy back 2 months after i got it, and before i totaled it and rebuilt it




ohh and behind it is my 1990 454 SS (factory big block 454ci super sport c1500) which is a futur project, it was totaled twice by the original owner my grandfather and then my grandmother so now its my turn to fix it again lol

lol i wish i could get you more pics, its at my grandmothers house, i work on it but its being passed down to me, its a 454 with the 3 speed trans, need a lil tlc and piant, motor is all stock but chrome valve covers and air cleaner

 

funny you mention that, did all obs trucks come with the 4 speed 700r4 or did some come with a 3 speed?

no, the 454s came with a 3 speed in 90', after that they had the 700r4 then i think the 4L60e, i got unlucky that the year mine is has the 3 speed but i got lucky its a true 454SS
