My new grille
well i needed some money so i sold my old bowtie grille. i always loved the look of the open grille. my exhaust guy just happen to have some nice mesh so i just put 2 and 2 together and came up with this. i might add a little bowtie emblem to the center somehow.

heres the old look:

I like it! Looks different. Maybe you could put one of the billet bowties for chevy trucks in the middle of it.

Re: My new grille
i got the bowtie off of my old 02 z28 that i might glue on.
looks like this. although i do like that cavy one.

oh if your wondering why my blisters are missing, its cause im tryin to sell them and get a stock flat hood to build a custom hood.

Re: My new grille
The mesh does not look bad. I prefer the bowtie grille...you just had to sell it before I could ****** it up...

Re: My new grille
not a believer of selling parts off of a car cuz u need money... how much could u have gotten for a used z28 grille. new one looks ok but if ur going to a stick a red bowtie on it u may as well have left the stock grille on... now maybe a 1st gen style 'Z28' emblem off center would be ok

Re: My new grille
i didnt just sell it cause i needed money. i wanted to do this in the first place. i did it on my other iroc and loved it. thats part of the reason i sold the part that im not goin to use anymore. dont like the idea of the 1st gen badges on it.

Re: My new grille
i like bowtie grill better... what you could have done is use both... used the bowtie grill then used your black grill where the fog lights would have been...
