I got someone willing to sell me these chrome 85-87 IROC wheels in 16x8 for $800, is that a good deal?

Its alright, I'd tell him to give you a real photo and photos of close up detail. MAke sure you can really get a good look at them. They are nice wheels, but on some cars they stand out to much. Black, its to much of a ghetto look, duller works better, on red or a deep blue mellatic its and awesome look.

I haven't seen them, but he said they were in mint condition, so I assume they are pretty close to the pic I provided..

Of course, I will inspect them visually before I buy....my IROC is white, so I think it would look pretty damn clean with chrome rims, thanks man

You are not getting a deal at all. When i bought mine like 2 years ago, and they are still this price, they were $800. I know a wholesaler and got them for $800 with brand new tires, thats a deal

------------------
*1989 RS
*Red, Daytona Turbo fiberglass hood, chrome 16x8 IROC wheels
*355 CID
*TPI ported plenum, SLP siamesed runners, Edelbrock high flow intake
*Edelbrock TES Headers (getting SLP 1 3/4)
*Richmond 3.73, Auburn Posi
*Modded 700-R4, 2800 stall converter

Well, I don't have any contacts or know any wholesalers...so that's not an option...

Most of the places I look on the net have them for closer to $850-$900 without tires and without shipping factored in.....so I think I am infact getting a fair deal...

I have new tires now, and switchin them onto the new chromes wouldn't cost much, thanks for the responses guys
