Alloy rims
I have a set of eagle alloy rims and I need to clean them. I went to walmart to walmart to grab some rim cleaner and I did not know if they are chrome or aluminum can someone help me out. Also what is the best tim cleaner to use.

Use a magnet to test. If it sticks to the rim it's probably chrome being it's finding the steel rim. If it doesn't stick it's polished aluminum.
Most people recommend Eagle 1 for chrome. Aluminum stock 16x8s I'm guilty of just using some windex on a paper towel, because they don't shine anyways.

If they are really "alloy" wheels, that means that they are indeed aluminum alloy, not chrome.
FYI, the best rim cleaner won't be anything found at walmart. You'd need to look into botique vendors online, Griot's, Poorboys, Chemical Guys, Adam's, etc.
