Hi All

I'm thinking about lowering my firebird.
What have you folks done about the stock y-pipe, which seems to hang down quite low ?

It seems that Eibach springs seem to be the most popular. Is there that much difference betweem the makes ?

I went with 2" drop spindles in the front, and then the eibach springs.. it's pretty low.. speed bumps are a no-no... but I have after market exhaust (shorty headers back...) the y-pipe isn't what scrapes on mine, its the part of the pipe under the passenger door where the cat should be...(heh. gotta love no emission states..) as far as the back, i have eibach springs with a coil or 2 cut off

I lowered mine about 1.5 inches, and my stock y-pipe and cat are nowhere near the ground. Only thing I scrape is the air dam on the bottom of the car.
