I think they were only available in '91 and '92 as the whale tail changed with the 4th gen.

* I'm not sure if it's called the whale tail spoiler though..

Dilemma
Spoiler comes close to rear window and I'm not sure if a louver would fit.
I can't find any pictures of firebirds with this spoiler and louvers.
All these yours chevyh

I once had a louver that came with sort of an attachment for the 91 aerowing spoiler. The piece had rounded corners for the spoiler and was detachable from the rest to make it usable for other models, too.

They came on the Firebirds as well.. I think it's referred to as the Aerowing II. In that 5 car picture the grey and black have the Aerowing I "wrap-around" spoiler (RPO D81?).. afaik Personally, I'm not a fan of the Aerowing II but to each their own i guess.

@ mantaguy

Yep, until recently we owned these at home. (dad-me-little brother)
Though.. the bird an trans am have been sold now.

'85 iroc 5.0, TPI - dad
'91 firebird 3.1 - dad
'89 trans am 5.0 TPI - brother
'88 GTA 5.7 TPI - me
'88 camaro 2.8 - me (my daily)

I'm pretty fond of my GTA as they're quite rare here in Belgium. Still being restored though. As far as I know there's only 1 more. My best buddies one, but his one is a 5.0 TPI. & he also owns it because of me hehe.... gave him the thirdgen virus too.

@rest of you:

Thanks! Those Chastain shadow louvers look like they could fit. A picture of a thirdgen with the 'aerowing II' and these louvers (or other) would still be appreciated. I'll dig in the forum a bit more.
Thanks guys!
