Anyone run these on their car? Just wondering if they are any good?

Re: HID 4x6 Projector kits
I have tried these on my car and they do not work they light up the trees more than the road. You get more light than the factory sealed beam lights but it is useless when it doesn't light the road. Hope this helps.

Re: HID 4x6 Projector kits
They dont mount in the same brackets as stock? So you can adjust the angle? Also, did you do the HID ones above? How well was the HID kit set up? Got a pic? Thanks.

Re: HID 4x6 Projector kits
Sorry no pics, I got the HID lenses without the ballasts since I already had the ballasts. It went in okay but the problem isn't with aiming them, because I tried, it is that the light goes everywhere but strait ahead and only covers a short distance. After a few months of not seeing very well at night I cut up the lenses and used them to do a projector retrofit. And they do go in the stock brackets just like if you replaced a bad sealed beam light but it fully adjustable from factory.

Those are fake projectors. As previously stated, the light output is horrible on those.

those are actualy projectors in a housing, not bad. better quality than stock sealed beams from the look of it.

Re: HID 4x6 Projector kits
Those are different. They use a true projector, not quite as good as OE, buy decent nonetheless. That is the correct way to use HID's.

Re: HID 4x6 Projector kits
adding the hid kit through them though is $179. you can get hid kits cheaper from places like ddm tuning. just make sure were ever you get it from you get one for and h3 bulb housing. (thats what those projector lights use)

Re: HID 4x6 Projector kits
well when you factor in the cost of getting a set of cheap ebay housings (~$25), and some decent projectors(~$75-$100), and the cost of materials to mate them together(~$20-$30), they only cost a little more than making them yourself.
