I know this has been done before but hell, I love seeing thirdgens, exspecially V6's.
Heres my sleeping beauty waiting for a turbo this winter. Once the snow hits, its coming apart.
Interior/sail panel pic...

Turbo is gonna be right down in the lower right hand side soon enough..

Sitting pretty...

Well ive had it since 2002. Mods i can remeber are, Replaced all front stearing componets(resent,Spohn), added (gutted) dual snorkle intake, underdrive pulleys, msd coil, ICM and basically every other sensor replaced, I just sanded all underbody and wheel well and primer and painted, Removed crappy air cond., Rear 50/50 lakewood shocks, magnaflow dual out muffler, hi-flo cat, pacesetter headers.
Ive re-did the headliner, re-did sail panels, added 4th gen visors and mirror. Added sub and amp in cusom made sub box/amp rack.(carpet to match interior).
Obvously the crager rims and paint on calipers/drums.
Else than that, just basic up keep on the car.
Got some pics of your car???

Look close at the reflections in the gauges and you'll see service attendants standing around monitoring for safety. I thought it was a good shot while on the rollers of a dyno.Member

Hmm, where did that digital dash come from? I'm pretty sure I've seen it somewhere before, but don't remember where. Would rather have one with the bar graphs that Intellitronix was supposingly making, but I don't think they are going to ever deliver on them.Originally Posted by Al Hasse

Also, how did you get your radio to mount flush like that? Did you cut out a hole in your floor plan or beat it down or something?
And one last question for you, I've been considering building a similar speaker box for my subs. I see your T-Top bag back there too though, do you actually let the ttops ride on top of the sub? That's my biggest gripe about having a sub box, no where to put the t-tops when I take them off, except in the back seat lol.

It's Dakota Digital, I had to send a ready to install gauge cluster to them and they retrofitted their gauges into it. Quite pricey even 8 years ago when I did it.Originally Posted by Steven6282

Actually, it's not flush mounted. It still sticks out about 1/2 inch.Originally Posted by Steven6282

I have a custom made cover of expanded metal covered with acoustic carpet to fit over the entire well area. Actually looks similar to the stock hinged cover.Originally Posted by Steven6282

I tried looking into the relections to see if I could make anything out. Now that you say there are service techs in the reflections, I see 2 people.Originally Posted by Al Hasse

I was quite disappointed with Dakota Digital. I am in the same boat as you. I wanted one of their digital dashes but they quoted me over 1000.00 as they don't make them for the 91 and 92's. Maybe they eventually will. Otherwise the regular ones are only a little over 600.00 so I am holding off for now.Originally Posted by Al Hasse

They'll retro their gauges into anything as long as you send in a ready to install analog unit. It takes 90 days to complete.

I guess that's what I meant. Their ones for the 82 to 89 are only $795.00 and they want to charge me $1100.00 if I send mine in. I like them but not that much. I think I will go with the ones by Classic Dash. They are $949.00 with autometer guages, not digital but I personally like the full sweep autometer better and they are $150.00 cheaper.Originally Posted by Al Hasse
