Pylon Lift Lock for Hood Struts or other alternatives?
Just wondering if anyone has tried these yet or found something better. My hood struts are good and not too old. However, in the fall/winter they don't work as well especially against gusts of wind.

Re: Pylon Lift Lock for Hood Struts or other alternatives?
I just came across this new product called ShockLock (www.shocklock.ca), its a one handed tool that locks right overtop of the existing shock and can support upto 100lbs.
I have been using ShockLock on my saab which is much heavier then the average hood, and have to say it works like a charm. I am no longer concerned about hitting that broomstick out of the way.
