Power antenna cleaning
After 27 years my power antenna still works. Cleaning is easy and simple.
alcohol swabs clean, (dont laugh) clean on the up stroke LOL, damn thats funny but fellas you know what I mean. if you clean the antenna on the down strok you will jam dirt grime and nasty stuff in the sections.
let dry then use this:

Spray on a paper towel and rub it LOL
OK Im laughing but it works. YOU fellas get the drift right?

Re: Power antenna cleaning
I just picked one up at a yard today since it originally came with one. Hopefully it works. Any other maintainence you've had to do? I'm in the process of looking up links for power antennas and yours showed up first. I'll use your trick when cleaning the mast. Thanks.
