COTM March *Nominations*
*Please read before posting*
*****MARCH Nominations*****
This thread is designed as a nomination board to narrow down to the top ten thirdgens found on this board. This is not a picture thread to post pictures of your own vehicle, and you cannot nominate your own vehicle. To nominate a member you must provide a user name and post a photo of the vehicle (for others to possibly 2nd, 3rd, 4th the nomination).
***NEW***
- This month we are voting on STOCK APPEARING vehicles (Camaro & Firebirds)
- STOCK APPEARING means that the vehicle has all original body parts, factory style paint, factory lighting, factory wheels, non lowered suspension.
- I don't care what has been done to the engine, the interior, or what cannot be seen from a picture of the exterior of the car. We are not gonna get nit picky over original paint colors, Z28 & IROC "clones". If it looks stock from the outside (pics provided) it will fly. If not it will not be counted in the nominations.
Once a vehicle has been nominated, there is no need to post additional pics, but please post with members screen name as a vote for the car or the month.
One nomination per member. So please do not list of your top 20 favorite cars... think about this, it will be an honor, pick one. If multiple nominations are made by a single member, I will only count the first posted member when creating a tally.
*** The 10 or less cars with the most nominations will be complied into a new thread the morning of Feb 15th, at which time poll format will be used to nominate the March car of the month ***
Please see last months nomination thread for ideas....
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/auto...minations.html
As for the future of the COTM threads, JT and I are in talks and working to firm up a plan to have COTM as a monthly feature of the site. So Untill it can be fully worked out and plans set in stone I am gonna keep running these threads and make "changes" ie themes for variety. We plan to include other sections of the site to make sure we are getting the full scope of the site. We also plan on getting pictures of each months winners on the front page too! So stay involved with this program, and continue to vote/nominate your favorite rides!!!

I'm definitely interested to see some beautiful stockers posted. I can't say I remember any really good looking ones. (That is not to say they aren't out there, just that I don't remember them)

Re: COTM March *Nominations*
Yeah I changed my nominations to a pontiac this time, as i wanted to post a clean 1LE or one of the racing thirdgens you could get. Some guys on here own those rare cars and are awesome machines.
For all the people who complained about modified cars winning, heres your chance to post up stockers! Surprised it hasnt had more nominations by now....but I still think most ppl want to see modded cars.

True that guys! I agree with the modded cars, but the site is not just dedicated to modded cars only, so we need to try different things with the COTM while we fine tune the plan for the future of COTM.

I vote for JekyllandHyde because his car has to be the cleanest third gen I have ever seen/been in, actually the pic above doesn't really show how pristine his car is unless you've seen it up close.

I also second nomination the with bluezee on Irocthe5.7
Gordous car and has a super clean look to it. And you don't see many that pull off the blue strips.

Re: COTM March *Nominations*
What about a separate thread that people can post their own car for others to look at to possibly nominate? One post per person per car with pic. I think many good cars will get overlooked and I do like factory cars...
There is no good thread I know of to really scan quick and see a lot of cars. Or is there?
And don't let people post comments on the cars - just mucks up a good pic thread. Ok, now that you saw my idea just delete my post to clean up this thread.

Holy Jekyll and Hyde!!! I'm pretty sure that he has now been NOM-I-NATED...
Not to take anything away from anyone here, but this is not the VOTING thread, so if you have another favorite please feel free to post in a nomination. The more nominated cars we have the better. Right now have only three cars that have been nominated more than onces makes the COTM voting thread a little boring
