What a difference.
I have been in need of a fog light for some time now. I was driving my iroc one day and I heard a ching ching from something hitting the ground. I knew it was from my car since no other cars were around and I didnt run over anything. Found out later that the glass lense from the driver fog light fell off. So I've been in search of one for a good price. Took a while to get some extra money to spend and also to find one. Most people want atleast 100 bucks for a set of used ones and usually are not be in very good condition. New ones were out of the question since they're about 350 to 400 bucks. Found one on ebay for 59.99 with free S/H. Looked rough in the pic but I bought it anyway since it was the only one I found. Got the lamp and it turns out that its not that bad of shape. No rust holes in the trim ring, so all it needed was a good cleaning and some paint. Posted pics of the before and after. What do you guys think? Amazing what a little elbow grease will do.

That sucks!!! I've thrown stuff away too and now wishing I never did. I have replaced the stuff since then but sucks that I had to buy them. Live and learn.

Yeah I also dig the no-fogs look... still not sure I could bring myself to trashing the fog lights but that's only because I know how valuable they are these days.
I had a set of aftermarket fogs on my car when i got it. I trashed those. Lol.
