Updated pics of the Vert
The vert was down for some time for some upgrades and some technical issues. We finally finished her yesterday! I put back the fog lights (upgraded to HID Fogs). My buddy Vic also fabricated a nice little radiator mount with carbon fiber accents to match the hood. In addition, we added new strut/camber caster plates and upgraded a bunch of bolts under the hood. We are ready to cruise this summer!

I still need to build a stereo system in the car. Something nice and simple!
I don't understand it either. You would think one of these major players would want to make an iroc wheel that is different than others. Hell, make them in different sizes even!

Hi Mr. IROC-Z,
I don't know if you received the pm I sent to you, but could you tell me more about the wheels on your car? Did you order chrome irocs, remove the chrome and repaint? What company did you order from?
Thank you for any and all info!

Only in stupid 20" + sizes I hate the chrome wheels. If Oasis or any other manuf would make those wheels, hhell even just cast and machined, up to customer to paint the insets, I would have owned a couple of sets by now. IMO it's the only wheel design perfect for these cars, unfortunatly fugly chrome and silly sizes ruin the deal

Re: Updated pics of the Vert
Hey there, Apologize for the late reply. I ordered the wheels over 8 years ago from a company called Performance Wheels. The company is no longer in business. The wheels came 'polished', but they were no where near the level I wanted them. We re-polished the wheels and painted the centers. The only way to really get these wheels now is to contact the couple manufacturers who produce IROC replicase and ask if you they can sell you an unfinished wheel (raw iroc wheel prior to it being chromed). It's a long shot but maybe it will work

Re: Updated pics of the Vert
Cool, thanks for the info! I kind of thought maybe you picked those up several years ago...
I already have an email sent to oasis wheel co. requesting a purchase of four unfinished IROC replicas that I will paint to match original GM wheels!
Thanks again for the info, and by the way, your car and all the work you have done to it are top notch.
Hopefully you can get a feature in Camaro Performers or GM High Tech magazine to show the public that there are some third gen owners out there doing mods and rebuilds the right way!
Once again, nice job on all the work you have done thus far!
John

Here is a mediocre demo I took while doing a cruise. Be sure to watch it in 1080p! Be on the look out for a pro-style video soon!
