What do you guys think I should do first?

I think this is a good place to put this. Mods please move if necessary.

Do you think I should do the engine swap or appearance stuff first?

I just got it painted so that part is done but my 180,000 mile 5.7 needs to be replaced soon. It runs fine for now but there's a lot of problems and I've already decided that if a major problem comes up I'm just going to park it until I can do the LT1 swap instead of pouring more money into it when I know its coming out (already have $1500 into it.)

Then there's the appearance I still need the Iroc decals and stripes but I'll have to go custom because the colors I want aren't made and I also want to lower it and get new wheels. The wheels and lowering doesn't sound like something I need but it drives me crazy how high it sits and how small the wheels are. I know it sounds crazy to that I think the wheels are too small but I like more wheel and less tire and it bothers me when they don't fill out the wheel wells like mine. The wheels I want are 18-19 staggered TSW Mallory wheels in black. And then I'll get the windows tinted and blackout taillight covers and maybe the spaghetti engineering led taillights.

Either direction I go the other one will have to wait a while and they each have pros and cons to if I go one way so what do you guys think I should do first? I'm leaning towards outside because I already got the new paint so I might as well stick to the outside.

When you say "problems", what kind of problems are you talking about?

I would take care of the mechanicals first and then the cosmetics. I'd rather be driving something that I knew would get me there and back, than looking pretty, but broke down on the side of the road.

Well there's a mystery problem that the car won't usually start the first time but always the second and if it does start the first time it will stall out when I put it in gear but then I restart it and it's fine. And if doesn't start the first time and it starts the second time it will run fine right away. I took it to a couple different mechanics and stuff and each time I got a
