Paint Prep

IF I was going to get my car paitned, what brep work (specifically) should I do before I go, and how much should I exspect to pay for a good paint job (approx.)?

Well you can do as much or as little prep work as you want. But obviously, the more you do the more money you save. The biggest factor in the price of a paint job is how much body work the car needs. My car is in the shop right now, and while the paint job itself is $800, my total estimate was over 3 grand because of all the body work. They have to strip the bumpers down, straighten the fenders and fix some other dents.
