lighting help

i just replaced the bulbs in my dash with blue ones witch look really great but the orange neadles look **** colored is there any way to change it my gauges look so cool besides that any help would be apreciated

it an 86 TA with the 140 mph spedo everything was amber and now that i changed the ligh color the neadels are drownish looking

I'd go with red or blue needles. You can paint them with anything even markers. I used model paint and a brush.

but changing the color of the neadles will only make them darker browenish color no?????

most needles are only painted on the back...so if you take some fine grit sand paper and sand off the orange/amber you should be able to repaint them then. Either use a sharpie permanent marker or any kind of paint you want. Or...if you want something bada$$ check these out...
Importintelligence.com They are a bit pricey but would be something different

did anyone ever use those lighted nedadles there hott looking i wonder if they will work in our cars???

No they wont work in our cars because our needles arent transparent. It will probably work in 90-92 cars because they have the backlite guages with backlit needles. I think I'm gonna try that. I remember the needle have a channel inside it for the light to travel trough from under the gauge face.

yeah but they say on the website that it uses a light that is added to the neadle to light it?so it should still work???no"?
