Most know about my car here, but I'll post some of my pix. My car is really not all that exotic, but as the pictures show, it gets used for it's intended purpose.

Specs: 383 stroker engine, Nitrous Express wet kit with 200hp jets, AFR heads, Hooker LTs with custom made 3" ypipe dumping into a hooker muffler, custom grind Comp cam, all forged internals, HSR intake and a complete March performance mid mount serpentine belt setup.
T56 transmission with Spec stage 3 clutch
full Spohn suspension and C5 Z06 brakes and Koni yellows
FAST engine management ECU.
fully dynamatted interior with a 600 watt sound system hidden in the rear seat backs.

 

what are you guys painting the bottom of your cars with? any real prep or just spray it down?

I dont know if I can vote on this one, there are way too many cars I like in this one, it wouldnt be fair haha. This may be the best month yet besides the first one. Great examples of thirdgen camaros here

 

I agree, there's some great cars this month. Definitely several works of art.

 

I pressure washed mine, then hit is all with a scotchbright pad in fine grit, and wiped with wax grease remover. I then used tin foil to wrap lines and stuff. Used the Eastwood Extreme Chassis black. I used the Eastwood detailing paints for the heat shields and fuel tank etc. Very easy to apply and has been durable enough for my limited driving.

As the COTM editor, I have no powers to change the voting anymore than any other member by posting great pics of their cars. Its all member based and I can't edit the votes. All the nominations are beautiful camaros, and I happen to have one too... it would be a bit not fair to be excluded because I take the time out of my day to set this up every month for OUR community, because I help.

Yep there is "open" months were any thirdgen can be nominated. We had a bird month, then Camaro month, and now we will have a open month.


Gotta say I could not be happier getting win this. Thank you to all that voted for my car. Got a lot of respect for each of the cars this month. What a great group of cars!
