question on removing stripe decals
The 3 colored stripped decals that go arounf the bottom of the 3rd gen Camaros. I have a heat gun and plan on removing them. For those that have have removed their stickers, did the paint look like crap once they were removed? Any advice before I do this is appriciated

I think I would use a hair dryer instead. IMO the heat gun gets to hot and will burn the paint.

I used a magic wheel, got it at AutoZone. Worked well. Paint looked like factory underneath. Took off the decal and glue too.

3M Stripe Off wheel. Kinda looks like a white rubber wheel, but is awesome. I learned about these when I worked in a bodyshop where I stripped vehicles ready to be started on & detailed them after paint. Years ago I bought a black Tahoe & pulled the rub strips off. The adhesive left behind looked just like in this video. Stripped it off & the black factory paint was flawless afterwards.
