All amazing looking cars. It's nice to see great examples of thirdgens. I wonder if we could rotate COTM cars through the main header in some way?

It's an honor to be nominated!
Thanks everyone!
My car has full interior, stock hood, working air conditioning and a stereo. It's quite streetable!

Re: Novermber COTM **VOTING**
Lots of gorgeous cars, but it goes without saying--whitedevil gets it, that level of a build just doesn't happen in the thirdgen crowd, that deserves recognition.

Re: Novermber COTM **VOTING**
Just my 2 cents. Yes modifications are flashy and eye candy. But if compared to a fully restored with mods and a OEM mint Camaro, well I'd put it all down on the oem Camaro, not the modded Camaro. Allow me to express Scott Moyers dedication to his Camaro. There was a thread that a vendor posted that he had just made a OER door handle cup for our Camaro's. Scott asked how close to OEM where they. That question stuck me that Scott is 100% for originality. With that said, Scott deserves his spot and vote for vehicle of the month.

Ok I Voted for One
but I believe that James C's Silver Iroc deserves more Votes.
I'm kinda biased because Scott's Iroc Looks just like Mine except for the t-tops

Re: Novermber COTM **VOTING**
My vote goes for Scott - ha ha got to stick up for the dark red metallic IROC's!
I've got a 1988 IROC with the same dark red metallic paint job. I also have an option level 3 car but I sure don't have all the options that were available for the 1988 model year like Scotts car for the 1987 model year though.
Having said that if there was a way to have all of these cars selected as the car of the month I think they all should have equal time under the spot light. These collection of cars are a good representation of what can be done with a thirdgens (both Camaros and Firebirds) from 100% factory stock to heavily modified and all points in between.

I cant choose this month... JamesC's silver IROC is special, it jsut is. I love that car. Scott Moyer's IROC is equally special. And then you got the crazy insane build cars through the rest of hte thread...
I got to narrow it down between James C, Scot Moyer, Orr, and 86 TA, and the other guys' cars are amazing too but I will side with stock or corner carver cars over drag cars in a tough decision... But man... I love how these COTM threads really bring out the cream of TGO. Amazing.

Here's a shot from my collection...

I've got to say guys, being my brother I'm a little biased...but I'm still not the type of person to vote for a car "just" because I know the person. I got to watch this car come together first hand. I will vote for who most deserves it, and this car is beyond words. When he started this build 4+ years ago, I didn't see it getting completed to be honest. During the build he owned an 08 shelby mustang, but it still didn't stop him from giving up on his pride and joy. Nothing got in the way of this car being done. The paintjob is impeccable...no corners cut. Better than factory is an understatement. I can't count the amount of times we have gone places where people would reconsider their thoughts on third gens after seeing this car. While it was built to go fast, it wasn't built to be a "drag car." It's all around very tasteful. Suspension, interior, looks, and 563 horsepower...all while achieving 20+ mpgs! Builds like this don't happen often, and for that he gets my vote. Parking next to it in the garage is just a bonus.

My thing is stock cars, so I would normally pick the red IROC. But Whitedevil gets my vote because I watched him build that thing from nothing, and he did such an excellent job documenting his progress, I feel like I know him!

Somehow I've missed the build thread on your car - man I have been asleep! The attention to detail on your car is amazing.
Your car is also really stable when you start getting in to triple digit speeds too - not everybody who builds a custom car can say that - and come out on the otherside with no problems.
Have you tried taking your car to a test track and seeing what it will do on the top end. You are making more power than a new LS9 ZR1! Ha ha that would be great to see an old school thirdgen f-body with some new school tricks blow the doors of a new ZR1!

Funny to think a lowly truck 5.3 pumps out as much HP as the supercar priced ZR1!
