I tend to like things conservative, factory themed and two toned. The car is an 88 hardtop GTA. Trying to find something nice, a little different, yet not too loud.

The car is still in good shape, other than having the wrong spoiler on it and the single stage paint on it is starting to rust in a couple places. Im thinking of repainting it in the factory white, upgrade to 17" wheels similar to stock over C5 brakes, tint, black mirrors and spoiler, blacked out lights and decals/ emblems to include the hood bird. This should go nicely with a fresh drivetrain and interior/ electrical upgrade from an 02 bird (ebony dash, console, interior, 2 toned with dark gray).

Ive never seen anyone do this to a T/A or GTA. I dont necessarily want the same as everyone else. I even want to customize/ modernize the mirrors by swapping to C4 heated mirrors and installing turn signal LED's, keep steering wheel radio controls, ABS and airbag functionality. Thoughts?

 

Sounds a lot like an 82 trans am. They had black spoilers/mirrors.

 

Hmm. Havent seen an'82 like that. Ill have to google it.
