ok, this may sound a little crazy...... ok, a LOTTA crazy, but I was just kinda thinking, couldn't you take that spray on truck bed liner stuff (like in the areosol can), and spray an entire car in it, and sand that stuff smooth, and clear coat it (since I want to have a black paint job anyway..), and ave a nice new black paintjob that will help keep the car from rusting a little better? please help me, I'm just kind of brainstorming here....

 

that wont work, but theres a guy around here with a street rod he calls the "orange ruffy" which the car is painted bright orange with truck beliner, looks pretty cool actually.
