Micro-fiber towels

What would you folks advise to wash micro-fiber towels in?
I have seen " special " detergents that supposedly keep the fibers soft but I was wondering if its worth the $20 just for them.
Currently I have 3 sets

1) Wax application { 3 applicaters }
2) Wax removing { 4 removers }
3) Wipe down & buff { 4 wipers }

For washing I use a soft fluffy mitt.
For drying I use a real shammy and thick terry towels.

Just curious what you use to wash your micro towels in...??..

Re: Micro-fiber towels

I just wash all of my microfibers with regular laundry detergent. Just make sure you don't use any fabric softener. When drying, keep on low heat. Seems to work well for me. I have seen special detergents used specifically for the towels but have yet to use them.

Yup. What he said! Sometimes I may pre soak them in dish soap and water if I did a heavy wax job prior.

I just buy new ones. They're dirt cheap.
