Im thinking you cant really do racing stripes with anything but a coupe and have it look nice. T-tops would have to be painted on to carry the stripe, no real way to do it on a vert so its really left to hardtop, no t-top.

I was hoping to get a 'maro with T-tops as I love them on my f-bird but I really like the look of the stripes with the 2" cowl hood. does anyone have a Camaro with racing stripes +T-tops?

 

Go to this link. You'll see a number of T-top cars with stripes. Even a convertible or two. I think they look great.

The early z28 like the 60's cars. Had racing stripes only on the hood and trunk. Looked just fine.

IMO, I don't know what you’re worried about. I would neverpaint stripes on the top of a third gen. Here’s my hard top with stripes but you can imagine a "T" top car this way. This is a 2in cowl. I don’thave many pictures from above.
