Some Finished Lighting Mods. Let Me Know What You Think.

Here is my headlight mod and I threw a picture of my red LED dash in there as well. Let me know if you have any questions/opinions.

Oh, these are kind of just backlights. You can't see the red once you turn the actual headlights on. Which of course are H.I.D.'s lol. I'm kind of into lighting.

There is a user on here named calgutie. He sells a pretty cheap HID kit. In the housings there was a small hole for some "euro style driving lights" which are essentially what these are. I spliced the wire from my side markers to bring a wire up to the hole in the headlights. Then put a red LED. It was pretty easy and took me about 5 minutes.

Those red headlights as evil as they look, also look like a ticket waiting to happen.

Thanks. But they're wired so they only come on with just the parking lights. When the full headlight is on you can't see the red. Keeps it semi legal

Red lights in front, blue lights behind you. Headlights must be white,(unless factory HID) front markers amber, red tail and brake lights. You are asking for trouble.

I'm sure he knows the consequences guys, for all we know those lights are for "off road use".
Anyways, I think they look pretty darn mean! Good job!

I like it. How did you do this? I have a sand rail and tried doing the same thing but with green LED's, however the LED's were very dim and not visible.

What LED's did you use?

Gauges look good. I dont like the red headlights. Reminds me of the people that drive around with there Ebay Halo headlights on at all times. I'm a fan of the clean look that is unassuming.
