Thank you. It is a story for everyone, I almost never looked at the car, or considered buying it. My wife has 'fun' reminding me of that!

Thank you, means a lot to hear that, especially from car guys.

One of the reasons I love going to Trans Am Nationals is to see all of the excellent TAs. Last year, there was a 78 TA that you could see your reflection in-from 20 ft away~! There are a lot of owners out there, including this forum, who have some of the best third gens in the country! Like all of you, I love seeing a clean, shiny, third gen!

I couldnt handle having a low mile old car... I'd be terrified to drive it. These things get to a point where they're historically valuable just for what they tell you about the time tehy were built. The ways they were built. I'd be terrified to drive that anywhere.

But I'm glad there are guys like you around who can handle the job of being caretakers for these really special cars.

I'm with you, I remember those days! Nothing better than a brand new GTA sitting on the dealer lot...except side ways doing donuts!

This car is a blast to drive. I would drive it anywhere, it has had the best care and I have kept it in excellent condition. I replace anything that goes wrong and it is a great car. The hardest part about owning it is not driving it all summer! My biggest worry is somebody running into it. People really p!ss me off sometimes, have some respect.
