Super Chevy Magazine Best of the Best
Hey everyone this summer I showed my cars at the Super Chevy show in Denver and won with both cars in each of their classes... It was a really proud day. Couple days later I got a text from a friend saying that the editors of the magazine chose my car to be in the Best of the Best. What??? Didn't know about the program. Anyways the editors of Super Chevy Magazine choose 5 Camaros, Tri-fives, Chevelles, Novas, etc from the show as their best of the best and then it goes to a vote.

Some of you who happened to see my other thread may have seen that my 91 Z28 won the Denver area. I looked back through the 3 years the program has been going and there has been a small handful of 3rd gens chosen, but never has one WON. If you voted then I appreciate the help!

Now They are voting in the FINAL for the best Camaro (and others Chevys) in the country... My Camaro is the only 3rd gen to ever make it this far in the program. I'd love to be able to update this thread saying that a third gen has won this honor. I would love if some of the TGO family could help me out and vote for a third gen. This is not a situation where I'm asking for votes of one third gen against another. I'm looking for a helping hand from anyone willing help vote for the 3rd gen in a field of 1st gens Camaros.
http://bestofthebest.superchevy.com/2013/
Voting ends midnight Nov 11th, and only one vote per email address. If you have multiple emails use them
Thanks to my friends that already have voted, and thanks in advance to those that do vote.
Mods... If your not cool with this do what you need too

What a sweet car. Just got done checking out the pictures. Very nicely done.
My vote is in. Good luck, hope you win, it would be great to see a third gen get this. We are all pulling for you.

Thanks brotha! I'd do the same for you man.
Thanks for the vote. It does mean a lot, and I totally know what your saying. If my car was not in this position there is at least two I would do the same for... Of course that is why I had to get this out to my third gen brothers. Its a tough crowd in those 12 Camaros.
Thanks a lot. Seriously. Thanks

I'm glad you didn't take my comment the wrong way. My love for these cars is like that for women. My third gen is like my wife, love her and wouldn't ever get rid of her.(in spite of what I said earlier) The first gen is like that really hot girl you always wanted back in high school but could never even get close to.

Re: Super Chevy Magazine Best of the Best
They are polished billet aluminum, and custom 1, or 2 off? Got them off a member here years ago.
I have been in talks with Joe @ Eddies Motorsport (Billet parts), and I will be sending him some measurements and additional pictures of my unit as they are working on a set for our cars as we speak. Not sure when you could realistically expect to see a set, but they are in the pipe my friend. I'm trying to find a way to get them to make a BADNBLK edition

Re: Super Chevy Magazine Best of the Best
Well I wasn't able to pull off the win. I'm still totally pumped to even have made it to this level in a national program like this. First 3rd gen in the finals, I'm happy and proud. I'm even more proud of our third gen community and TGO for helping recognize and bring attention to this when none of you had to vote or pay any attention to this at all. Its awesome. As much as we are strangers around here... we are also family, this is another one of those things that make me feel it.
So one to the next project... I wanna take first place in the GoodGuys All American autocross! I was only 8/100th off from the winning time beating out ZL1's, Shelbys, Cobras, SRT8's what not. So win that all while looking good
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME AND VOTES!!!!

Me too!!! You should email them. Joe wanted me to start a group/pre-purchase on them, but honestly I know how many other buy it without seeing it type things have tried to happen on here and failed. I didn't want to do that. But email them and let them though you are interested, so they don't think this is a lost cause.

Right! I love it too! It was custom made by another member here, but sold it on ebay when he changed his mind on the custom look.
