Congratuations Hawk312!
That's one well built, neatly crafted, and fine looking automobile.
I might be a little biased though.

Also, its an honor to even be nominated. Props to this months nominees, ZZ3Astro, Dmans85, TEDSgrad, and fasteddi. with turbo sixes & eights, and LS ones & twos, these are awesome sleepers that appeared seamless in their quality.
in the end though, it was the man with the engine bay that looks like friggin' candy that got the most votes. congrats to the winner.
only one question on everyones' mind. will the '86 Trans Ams three-peat?

Thanks alot everyone! I really appreciate all the votes! I can`t take all the credit though. This thing was nothing but a shell when we started...no suspension, no transmission, no interior, etc. It didn`t even have a hood. Most of the work was done by my brother who built the engine and pieced together and rebuilt much of the drivetrain. He also figured out the wiring and harnesses to get the digital dash working, which was even more difficult with the LS1 engine. I also have to thank my brother in law and his wife for putting up with this in their garage for a couple years while I was doing the paintwork. And their were numerous others that helped with odds and ends stuff, and some just dropping by to help.

I love this car. Motivation to get mine done. Going for the same idea, clean stock looking with the LS1/T56. Plan to shave the antenna too.

That is simply gorgeous. I look forward to the COTM awards and this one is well deserving, a fine showing of talent and inspiration. Can't wait to complete my LS conversion.

Congrats! Tastefully Done, and very nice.
Love the idea with the 4th gen console. No more drinks in your lap. You gave me an idea.
