August 2014 COTM **WINNER**
Congratulations to this month's ThirdGen.Org Car of the Month winner, ray jr and his 3,000 Horsepower 1985 IROC-Z.
the body is all stock except for the hood and wing .. i run a class called outlaw drag radial .. the motor is a 548 proline big block chevy with twin 94 precision turbos and makes over 3000 horsepower .. i dont run wheelie bars or slicks and weigh 3300 lbs. and have been 4.40's @ 180 in the eighth mile which is equivlant to mid 6's in the quarter .. its still a stock type suspension car with a torque arm , full factory floors and i run mickey thompson drag radials ..

thanks to everyone who participated in this month's COTM nominations and voting. i would also like to give genuine, honorable mention to this month's other worthy nominiees, BIG_MODS, jpoeling, and Orr89RocZ.
i particularly like the fact that even though we were looking at four race cars, they were not four basically similar cars, as each of these cars is unique and stands apart in its own way.
