Re: 3rd gens at the car show

Nice to see, and as you mentioned 3rd gens are rare at shows. Something curious for me is you never see Syclones/Typhoons at shows.

Yeah pretty sure it is! I work in a chevy dealership and we can't sell Z28 parts without an available Z28 VIN! They block all the spare part so people can't make replica!

Re: 3rd gens at the car show

I'll tell you what, I go to shows and I walk right by new Camaros Vetes and Stangs without a 2nd glance. Just not interested in something that someone just bought. I'll give more attention to an old stock bug that's clean. I appreciate the work put into an older car much more. It shows the depth of vision and skills, not your pockets. Digging that blue TA. Might see one third gen at every three shows I go to.

I'll take a look at them...but if they are stock then I move on...however if they start listing off performance upgrades, I start asking more and more questions. Track times, weight, dyno specs, what brands, etc...if they start stuttering I start making them look like a moron. It's quite fun lol

Not everyone is into drag racing. Funny that the owner of a 2.8 would try to make them look like a moron by asking such questions.
