Re: Parking Lot Paparazzi
Seriously, what's going on? I never saw 3rd gens on the road in the past 3-5 years, now I'm seeing them almost every day. Saw a blue Camaro tonight at a Cracker Barrel.
Saw this clean red dragon in Stoneham Ma today. Love the red accent on the wheels and the spoiler. Tucked away at a gas station. I feel like I've see it before...
I would have guessed this photo was taken at the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company in Scranton, PA.
Not sure where that is, but the area I took the picture in is an older industrial area that's come back a bit and has multi-use structures in it now. I like the old brick buildings that have been brought back & updated.
This may be the same car - caught it on Route 84 yesterday morning - heading in the direction of where the other picture was taken.
Unfortunatly it is in very rough shape. Don't let the picture fool you. Its had a VERY cheap respray with overspray over all the weather stripping. It needs all new floors and the suspension is being held up with those rubber spring spacers because every coil spring is broken. The owner has had it in storage for a very long time and is just now starting to give it the care it deserves. Hope he does it right. I should have the tank done this week and then we have to clean the carb and try to get it running. Its a v6 car. Nice interior though.
I saw this while working the other day. Funny because I am a police officer and I followed this guy all over town until he stopped at Autozone to buy an alternator. Scared the hell out of him! Lol... He just got it back from a $4500 paint job. Absolutely beautiful! Can't wait till mine looks like this...
By the way, how do you attach a full size photo into your post instead of a thumbnail?

You use the mountain icon on the reply menu at the top to post large pictures from your phone or computer. Like so...

I took my car in to the dealer a couple years ago for a sticking front brake. Turned out to be just a collapsed brake hose. While there, a couple bays away while they were working on it, was a '95 or so TA. I like to pretend the guys there voted mine their favorite that day. It very well may have been...
I don't know about wow, look along the edge of the trim at the bottom of the white, I see some rust. As well as look at the corner of the hood, the bumper doesn't sit quite right. It's had a knock at least on that corner of the car. And with the door ajar you can see the gap larger at the top, so I'm sure it needs at least pins, maybe the hinges bent back straight.
Sorry, I flip cars lol I jump straight to what I can knock money off with.
I could find out. Looks like it's sitting on private property. I might stop one day and check things out
do it for the old girl. I am sure if they dont want it one of us would be willing to take her on. not me due to lack of space but someone here I know would.
Oh it looks like its next to a forest because SbFormula said he drives by and I thought he can't drive by through a private property.Someone who knows US laws should post about what are the steps to do so people who find cars that are abandoned to know how to legally claim and save them.Really frustrating to see cool cars like that abandoned.

Canada has tons of laws. The issue is to enforce them It's pretty much a private car parked on a private driveway. So no one bothers.
I have lamented before about not seeing any 3rd Gens on the road around KC, things did change recently. I couldn't get pictures because of light, but saw the only other 91-92 Firebird I have ever seen in town last night. It was 3 blocks from my house pulling out of a parking lot. It looked like a white GTA or TA. I circled but he was already gone!
