I would but I certainly don't need another project, nor do I have room for it! I told him about the classifieds section here and he said he would look into it.
Appears that it was a nice car until it was parked in a swamp. Body was very straight except for the dent in the nose. Thankfully no one was around for me to ask how much they wanted for it. Lol
Ive been daily driving mine for 5 years now. I know quite a few ppl in my area that do as well.
Ive been daily driving mine for one year now. Sadly I dont see to many daily thirdgens in my area only seen a few and the rest are just parked sitting for years
This one was easy to spot. He was haulin some tail! I'm doing 80 comfortably and this guy bolts past me with his front chin spoiler flapping hard against the fender lol
Saw this young kid messing with his car today in Stedman, NC. Told him about thirdgen.org. He had no clue as to what a 3rd gen was. Gave him a brief history lesson and he was logging in as I was leaving. Future member perhaps? Maybe we can convince him that his spoiler is blasphemous!
Just fire that puppy up and enjoy it, the heck with the mileage. Of course, be prepared to fix all the leaks and hoses after about a 100 mile cruise....(from sitting so long)
The problem is I like to drive them so owning something with mileage that low is really wasted.
I understand that completely. I would have to drive it myself. Since spring has arrived I'm starting to see more and more cars. But to be honest, some of the prices I'm seeing are ridiculous. Saw a descent 51k 89 iRoc online right now in nice original shape but he wants 17k for the car cash price, and it needs paint, and isn't the best optioned car out there though not bad. There is no telling what they would want for that one...if they know what they have that is...
Saw this one for sale the other day here in El Paso. The dawn light makes the hugger orange appear to be red. A brief walk around shows the car to be straight with fresh paint. Sticker claims to have a fresh rebuild on the 305 tbi. Owner is asking $9,000!!!
Edit: apologies for the iPhone special downside up photo

The photo corrects itself after you click on it twice.
Thats actually a good looking car. Not my favorite paint scheme on a big block hood, but I love the color. 9k is just that guy trying to get back some of what he has in it. I dont blame him. Go for the kids who just have to have it FIRST...lol

I agree, a seller can't go up in price while negotiating. I'm sure they will sell it here, maybe not for asking price, but it will sell. It looks pretty well done from what I saw.
dragged mine out of the garage today for a spring cleaning and took my wife to a flea market in Bowling Green KY. Saw a couple of cars along the way... Im gonna get arrested doing this one of these days...lol
Whoever put that spoiler on it was smoking somethin. Figured this one had roaches in the ash tray, so I tried to take a shot of the interior. Photo wouldnt take. No roaches, but MAN was it ever rough!
