hi guys just finished one of the custom parts for my firebird , fuel cap and neck will be machined from billet and black anodized with letheres and logo laser etched, let me know wat you think of it
Thanks Meenz28 once i have a bit time i will do a z28 version... but this fuel cap is not a direct bolt on part . It will require so fabrication to the quarter panel and the fuel tank tube
Me too down side is the price for just 1 prototype , this fuel cap and filler neck is going to cost me between 600and800 $ inclusive anodizing and laser engraving.... but i think it will be worth every penny at the end
looks nice. Is it just a frame for the screw in cap and doesn't attach to the fuel filler neck? How does it attach to the body? Is it flush with the body or does it protrude?
Tibo . For this fuel cap and filler neck there is some fabrication needed . The filler neck needs to have a flange fabricaded and welded to the quarter panel. The cap is seperate from the filler neck . On this version the filler neck sticks a couple mm of the body. I did some mods to it because i decided not to use it on my firebird as i want to go with something different , this one is on the way to the US to be mounted on a 69 camaro rs
