To be honest, I'm one of those who don't like it. Two reasons: I hate how GM squared off the rear part of the hatch glass (especially for the Birds), and the 91/92 TA style spoiler hides that nicely. And #2, the fourth gen spoiler was styled to match the more roundedness of the 4th gens. If someone modified it so it wasn't quite so rounded (the trailing edge of the spoiler lip), it would look better on the 3rd gens.
I've toyed with the idea of putting one on my car, but I'd have to see it in person before I could commit. Is yours a true 4th gen or the one from Hawk's?

Mines off of a 4th gen. I'd have prefered a 91-92 from hawks but that would have cost me over $500 and this only cost me $75 and a few hours of modifying.
I didn't realize you could get GTA wheels on a non-GTA. Very clean looking car though.
yah the bolt patterns are the same. You could put them on a camaro sport coupe if you want or base fbird an I believe you could get those from the factory with black 16's if you had WS6 option.
Yes, the stereo is still stock. I have the AM/FM with cassette. No equalizer. I had to replace a few capacitors on the head unit that had gone bad which caused a strange popping sound on the right side, but all is good now.
I really do need some new speakers, however, as they have gotten pretty bad, especially at the low end when the volume is turned up.

You are correct. The base Firebirds and TransAm came with 15" rims, but if you ordered the optional WS6 suspension on a Trans Am then the car came with the 16" diamond lace rims. This is what I did, thus these are stock and not after-market.
This same suspension and these wheels were standard on the GTA. The only difference is on the Trans Am you could not get the gold colored diamond lace wheels.

Yeah there will be no bass on high volume on these stock systems unless you have the optional subs and they still work...
and they improved things but the head unit will limit things. these will fit stock with no cutting. I got adapters from crutchfield so I didnt have to splice anything.

Perfect. That's what I needed. Thanks for the info.
