how rare is this car?
I found an 83 Camaro convertible 2-SEATER in the paper. It has 40xxx miles and they want $3750 for it? Looks like a steal to me!

Not really rare... Kinda like the berlinetta, tacky, but has a following.
They're an aftermarket conversion not somethign GM did or authorized. If you really want a convertible, get an ASC conversion. They're more practical and worth more money and will be worth more money even more so as time goes on.
