Chrome vs Silver Painted

2 options

-Tripple Plated Chrome Rims with 2 year warranty for $1350.
-Silver Painted/Clear Coated with Life Time Warranty for $1250.

What do you guys think? These will be going on a daily driven car. I asked them what they recommended, and they said that if properly maintained, both kind would last a long time. The price difference is so small ($25/wheel) that I dont want to skimp out on one kind just to save a little money, but I want them to be the last rims I have to buy, that wont start looking like crap. I am not too fond about clear coated painted rims, because on mine, the clear coat is starting to come off, but then again they are about 10 years old. But I dont know if the chrome rims would be too flashy or not. What do you guys think.

I think this is a personal opioion question myself it's whatever you like better. But this is what I think. I Like the Chrome treatment on a Black or Yellow Camaro. Where on a blue car like yours I prefer the Silver Painted/Clear Coat. So for your car Iwould pick the Silver Painted/Clear Coated with Life Time Warranty for $1250 deal.

But like I said its opinion, but whatever you get done post it to show us the results.

Chrome, never go wrong with chrome.

Easier to clean, looks better. I'm not a fan of it on Silver or White cars, but it still looks better than silver to me.

I think it really depends upon which wheels you are going to get. Without knowing I would say chrome, unless you are going with a 5 spoke wheel similar to the 4thgen SS or ROH, in which case I'd say painted silver. Darker cars usually look better with chrome imho.

I have both, most people like the chrome, especially girls since they like flashy things, but I am going to be using the silver ones the most since they are 17x9 and my chrome ones are only 16x8.
Here are a couple of pics of my sets.

A little off the topic. But myself I like the Z06 rims better than the stock Corvette rims, but I don't find they look that good on a 3rd gen, because the Thirdgens don't have brakes and rotors that we would want to show off. lol, althought on the mult6's car they don't look too bad.

If those are the wheels, then I say go with the painted silver.
